The day surgery I had a few weeks ago seems to have helped a lot of the neuropathy issues I was having, or so it seems. I wonder if the endometriosis was messing with some of my nerve endings in my upper legs.
For those who didn't catch it - I had lots of endometriosis and one of my fallopian tubes had 'detached' itself from its ovary and with the help from the endometriousis, had attached itself to the back of my uterus. It also had a cyst inside it. Naturally the now lonely ovary was not well anymore, so they removed the fallopian tube, the ovary and all the endometriosis. I got to see the colour pics - it was quite fascinating!
Seriously, except for being utterly exhausted when I get home at night, still healing inside from the surgery (the doc told me about all the stuff they did so it's still going to take some time for everything to settle down) and occasional tingles/sparks in my lower legs and top of my head, I'm about where I was before all hell broke loose in early December. I already had the tingling in my feet for over a year before all the crap hit the fan. And my back, while it still hurts, is not being as cranky.
The low-dose Cymbalta for the neuropathy 20mg instead of the recommended 60mg) and the low-dose Klonopin for sleep/amygdala suppression has been working great. I just wish my amygdala would get over itself and settle down so I could get OFF some of this medication. I can sleep just fine now.
So now I need to find the energy to start unpacking what little we have left of our lives (mostly my stuff) and settle in. I have a lot of books to re-shelf and I need to start organizing the spare room so I can bring the rest of my dolls and all their stuff home.
Happy Troth Day number 24 - my own and only! It still seems like only yesterday, until my body goes 'ow!' when I move. I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow, rat love.
God and the house gremlin got together and left the bite guard on Crockett's pillow between 4am (when he got up) and 6:30am (when he got up) this morning. Yes, it was NOT there prior to 6:30am. Now I don't have to monitor my 'output' this weekend. Yay!
I'm going to try lots of different cooking for us this long weekend.
Thanks: --> to Lia, my sensei, who has inspired me to draw again. I
wouldn't be doing this without your support, Domo Arigato!
--> to Talon, for sending me her fabulous fics, inspiring me with her writing to draw my first
illustration for a story and actually liking what I drew.
--> to Dasia, for her words of encouragement when drawing her original chara.
--> to Joules, a wonderful epic fic writer, for liking my art enough to want to post them with Talon's
and her own stories.
--> to Lutra, the other half of the epic team, for being so supportive.
--> to Jacque' & Becca Raddittzu, we met on eBay as bidder and sellers and now we are face-to-face
friends. You showed us the real DBZ with your fansubs. It's all your fault the house is full of
doujinshi! *LOL*
